Description:
Chelsfield Plc commissioned INC Design Associates Ltd to create 75,000sq ft of A1 office space at Round Oak Plaza at the Waterfront at Brierley Hill. The design and development team created a scheme including two office blocks, which would be constructed on the footprint of a former car park.

These fronted the proposed route of the Midland Metro, still in its conceptual stage, which was planned to connect Birmingham city centre to Brierley Hill. New, spacious public plazas were created with A3 bar and restaurant units at street level, cafe-style seating areas and appealing landscaping.

The elevations comprised terracotta rainscreen cladding, render and glazed curtain walling with suspended glass entrance canopies.  (Concept Design).
