Chelsfield plc commissioned INC Design Associates Ltd to conceive a flagship store for major fashion and homeware retailer Matalan. INCs architectural design and development team created a groundbreaking sandstone facade with a cutting-edge steel and glass covered walkway and landmark canopy entrance. The existing retail warehouse was partially demolished and extended at the back to allow the fashion chain 41,000sq ft of retail space as well as staff facilities and relaxation rooms.
